Choose QR content, maintain contrast and test your exported code before printing or sharing.

Start with the destination
A QR code encodes information. It does not establish that a linked website is safe, and a Wi-Fi code is not a secure way to hide network credentials. Choose only information you intend to share.
- Open the QR tools and choose a supported content type.
- Check the URL, text or contact details carefully.
- Keep a dark foreground, light background and clear space around the code.
- Export and test the actual result with more than one phone.
Test the final use
Test at the printed size and expected viewing distance. Logos, low contrast and dense content can reduce readability. A code containing a direct URL remains dependent on that destination; the code does not keep the website online or update the address automatically.
